Scramble Thoughts..

Lol..I guess i should had listen to my cousin edmund regarding this blogging thing. I mean he is right..to start a blog is a thing..and..to maintain a blog is another thing all over..lol..

Its been awhile since i post in my own blogspot..honestly i had no idea's on the direction of this blog should be ^^" i means there are some blogs do movie reviews, some food spotting and a lot more..well..up till now honestly..i really dont know yet..i mean i can write about musics, movies, food and even my very own RECIPE!>< haha..hard to believe right?well i had decided on doing all of the above!well..to those(refering to unknown numbers of readers i have or might have) who wants movie reviews or musics and even recipe can refer to me ^^ willing to help~

And im willing to accept suggestion from you all >.o

LOL what will you do when suddenly a girl ask for your phone number?well it is not a big deal actually most of you would say because its normal what...LOL...well...listen out to me...she look nice with a good complexion..everything about her seems attractive...until~~~ "hey leng cai, can I ask you a..." at 1st she was asking about the direction to a place which you dont know..then she ask for your phone number...saying that she want to thank you and treat you for a meal like that...at first glance you may say why not..LOL...BUT I left something that is the essence of this this post...that is...the pretty girl you think she is however is not a she..but a "HE" a shemale!!>.So my friend...the moral of the story is?
everything might not seem to be what it is...so careful lo...haha

Earth Hour Dilemma

The other day my lecturer show us this interesting article..do you know our local electric power company want to sue WWF for 'Earth Hour' ?
Here is something that i would want you to think about..most of us..no doubt support Earth Hour..BUT..try reading this...then tell me what you think..
It all started when 2.2 million homes and businesses turned their lights off for one hour as an act against climate change. Little did they know it had become a global phenomenal that all stood in darkness, as ‘Earth Hour’ becomes a symbol of hope for a cause that grows more vital by the hour
Earth Hour, the world’s largest global climate change movement urges every individual, every business and every community throughout the world to take a stand, take responsibility and to get involved in order lead the way towards a sustainable future. Earth hour has done a lot to raise awareness of climate change issues to the world. It is about being the voice on the future of our planet as people from all walks of life will turn off their lights and join together to create a sustainable low carbon future through the one thing we all have in common-our planet.
Time is not on our side as the new economic modelling indicates that our planet has just five years to initiate low carbon industrial revolution BEFORE climate change becomes inevitable.
However, watching lights wink off major metropolitan areas no doubt looks impressive, but what is worth more asking is what is the point? the energy saved by it “won’t make much difference” some may say. So, if it does not cut down carbon emission, why then bother with this “Earth Hour” gimmicks? According to critics, ‘Earth Hour’, like any other well-meaning green initiative is not likely to make a lasting effects as these ideas needs to be convenient for consumers or they simply won’t make an impact. It is noted that people go green to make ‘a statement’. How many of us have jumped on the bandwagon of ‘going green is the new pink’? Researchers suggests people buy luxury item for their comfort, but when someone is watching, they might choose green products to ‘appear’ that they care about the environment.
In addition, there is a hiccup to ‘Earth Hour’. To my understanding, some power plants have to be constantly running at full capacity. Won’t the surplus energy generated be wasted and won’t the wasted amount of surplus energy contribute to more energy wastage than we intend to save through earth hour at the first place?
Earth hour act as a platform to educate world of the important role they play in saving the earth and to take personal accountability for climate change by taking the first step as easy as turning off their lights. It is meant to tell others that saving earth is a collective responsibility that requires constant commitments. The environmental movement now is reaching its delicate moment. We have surpass the point of doing our little bit to save the world is significant yet we have become inert of the existence of global warming; solutions have been given, yet we still fall short of the scale of the problem. We risk green fatigue because after all, what can we do about it? This is the moment where we need to keep on pushing in every way possible; a breakthrough. The technology is developing, but still lacks of a catalyst and this will only happen if we keep climate change near the top of our political agenda.
Can the tide of climate change be turned? The campaign can only take us this far, question is how far are we willing to go to save the earth? The Ghandian ideal said;
“Be the change you wish to see in the world”
As for now, whatever is convenient, whatever is affordable and fashionable rules the day.

Being Human

Hi,
Just got back from the movie "Being Human" by Jack Neo...another great movie to remind us about some of the features and qualities that define human and makes us come back to our senses in real life..in this movie, in fact in most of Jack Neo's movie act as a mirror for us to reflect on...
It then struck me...
What is the definition of the word "human"?
What are the qualities and features that determines a human as "human"?
Is our everyday decision or what we do "humane"?
these are some of the questions that is bugging me right now...
No doubt being human is hard...but harder is being human and live by the qualities and features that carries the name "human" and not to be human but have none of the qualities of a human...meaning...doing the right thing...helping people in need...and most of all...having a clear conscience in everything we do...
remember,
what goes around....comes around
count our blessing and in every decision we make in life...
try consulting your "inner voice" it will probably tell you what to do
on the other hand, your conscience will diminish when you do things which is against the moral value...

well, give some thoughts about it and tell me what you think...i mean i think the question itself its true enough to anyone of us..why do i say that?it is because...i read from a book the other day that our brain..as a human being tend to relate things such as when we think of an apple...generally we would thought of an "RED" apple..why not green or something else?so for the questions above..i am sure we are able to relate ourselves to it..thats what makes a personality test so "predictable" that you can say "ya ya this answer, i am like this...."
